Background
Naval Undersea Warefare Center - Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) is tasked by various PEO C4I, Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) codes, and the Fleet to support readiness and operations of interior and exterior communications, electronic support measures (ESM) and periscope systems that are installed or being developed for the Fleet. The technical program responsibilities assigned to NUWCDIVNPT covers a broad range of C4I systems including all antenna and electro-magnetic sensors that support communications systems.
Here's how we help:
We perform technical tasks for the
research, design, development, and implementation in support of all
integrated communications systems. We also provide technical expertise in the areas of Fleet Support, training, operational readiness, maintenance and Integrated Logistics Support for all newly designed communications systems.
We provide program management, acquisition, technical and IT system support for the technical, production, and acquisition stages for several communications systems.We help define, plan, organize, maintain, and manage the SubHDR National Maintenance Center (NMC) located at NUWCDIVNPT.
