TCI was founded in 1985 by Curt Renshaw, an electrical engineer who served NAVELEX in Crystal City, VA. Upon leaving NAVELEX, Curt retained a passion to see the success of the programs he had been serving, NESP and MILSTAR, and the program office desired to have Curt continue his support. TCI teamed with Booz | Allen | Hamilton to provide continued engineering and logistics support to these programs. Pat Kidwell left NAVELEX to join TCI in 1986. Mr. Kidwell was, and remains, an established subject matter expert in logistics and logistics engineering. In 2000, Bob McGlothlin, NESP Program Manager for NAVELEX and SPAWAR, brought his 35 years of Navy SATCOM experience to TCI. In 2001, Quintin George, Raytheon program manager for NESP and MILSTAR joined the TCI team. While at TCI, Bob and Quintin have served SPAWAR as Trusted Advisors to Harris and Raytheon in the AEHF competitive procurement. In 2004, TCI was honored to add Dick Cannarella, former SPAWAR PEO C4I management support to our team.

For over 22 years, TCI has consistently and diligently sought out those with shared sensibilities. We have been tremendously successful in this endeavor by hiring the best candidates available from within the DoD, the military and the private sector. This includes like-minded individuals whose passion is to see the U.S. DoD and the U.S. War-Fighter succeed. Over 50% of our employees have direct, relevant experience through government and/or military service. Over 51% of our employees have relevant degrees, 10% have advanced degrees and over 75% of our staff has 5 or more years of direct, relevant experience in support of the DoD.
