Acquisition Program Management
TCI tailors the acquisition strategy to contain only essential and cost effective requirements to meet the specific needs of the program using DOD 5000 policies. We use performance-based criteria to capitalize on COTS and NDI products and processes to improve acquisition timelines and provide production and sustainment cost effectiveness. Our team uses the DOD Interim Defense Acquisition Guidebook to provide a "Total Systems Approach" to acquisition.
TCI applies best practices including IPPD, capitalizing on the use of performance-based specifications, management goals, reporting and incentives, and performance-based standards. We implement these using technology insertion for continuous affordability improvement through the product life cycle; realistic cost estimates and objectives; best value evaluation and award criteria; pilot programs to explore innovative designs and processes; and strong government-industry partnerships. TCI uses an IDE for data exchange and for keeping pace with evolving automation technologies. TCI provides the following products and services:
- Operational requirements (ICD, CDD, and CPD)
- ADM and APB documentation
- AoA, AP, and ASR documentation
- Technology and Industrial Capability Assessment
- C4ISR ISP
- RFP and contractual documentation
- Clinger-Cohen Act Compliance verification
