Fleet Support
TCI maintains a substantial level of field engineering talent. Our field engineering staff provides the Navy with technical assistance, equipment assessment, onboard operator and maintenance training and direct Fleet support for maintenance, modernization and repair of a wide variety of shipboard components and systems. Our diverse expertise in field engineering maintenance lies with our SATCOM support team working for SPAWAR and NUWC providing: system test plans and test conduct for factory acceptance, system integration, installation and acceptance and SOVT; technical and operational evaluation reports, identification of deficiency, need, and risk areas; and evaluate and provide corrective action recommendations relative to FRACAS reporting.

Our Fleet support also includes our renowned OJT training staff. This group provide OJT instruction to Fleet units to support T&E, Fleet introduction of equipment, operational assessment, completion of each TEMPALT, SHIPALT, or FC upgrade; BGSIT, JTFEX, COMPTUEX, and various military demonstrations; and in support of battle group pre-deployment exercises. TCI's training instructors are all Navy EHF/GBS Navy certified instructors that have developed rapport with numerous commands worldwide and on Navy ships utilizing EHF and GBS systems. They are available 24 hours a day, seven (7) days a week to receive calls from Navy Commands and BATGRU Commanders for operational questions, technical support, and problem resolution. TCI's OJT instructors coordinate training requirements with the IBFT that allows ship training officers to schedule and track SPAWAR C4ISR training with a web interface. This consolidates information about required courses and shows the training officer which personnel are required to go to C4ISR training based on their assigned job.
