Technical Data Support
The main objective of TCI's production support group is to provide the necessary technical information in a user-friendly format that complies with current and future ELI format. Our team has developed system user handbooks for EHF, SHF, and GBS systems as well as class 2 IETMs for NECC, MDR TIP, SSRS, and AEHF equipment's and systems. We have also established electronic ILS notebooks that provide complete ILS and technical data information on a CD-ROM for fleet distribution and support.

Technical data is needed to support introduction and sustainment of operations and maintenance functions for an equipment/system to support its intended life cycle. Operations and maintenance tasks are defined in technical manuals and PMS documentation for individual equipment that is further oriented towards systems users handbooks that detail end-to-end system requirements. The developed products are further refined for electronic storage, distribution, and are updated as needed implementing IETP/ICW guidelines and markup languages for ease of use by the user (HTML, SGML, and XML). Our technical data is provided in a fully ATIS compliant environment to support shipboard electronic storage and use. This provides a simple, very flexible format playing an increasingly important role in the exchange of a wide variety of data electronically. Our logistic group and product support group work in tandem to develop the following types of logistic products:

• Develop class 2 IETM technical manuals and system user handbooks (ATIS compatible), and PMS documentation.
• PBL-IWDS electronic and IP/UDP distribution.
• Desktop publishing, document imaging, document management, graphics support, and reproduction services.
