Configuration Management
TCI's CM system uses MIL-HDBK-61A and ANSI/EIA-649 guidelines in establishing and maintaining consistency of a product's performance, functional and physical attributes with its requirements, design, and operational information throughout its life cycle.
TCI provides a CM process for configuration identification, configuration control, configuration status accounting, configuration verification/audit, and data management. We conduct and monitor configuration data management from the equipment level up to the system level including satellite and shipboard ICDs. TCI tailors the process to a level consistent with the acquisition strategy while protecting the interests of our customer. We also support government configuration management systems including: CDMD-OA, SNAP, WSF, and FMPMIS. TCI provides the following management products and services:
- Develop and maintain SCMP
- Track ECP, ACSN, SCR, RFD, and other change control documentation
- Evaluate ECPs for life cycle cost impact, benefits, and impacts
- Plan and schedule SRRs, PDRs, CDRs, PCRBs, CCBs, and other audit/review and configuration control meetings
- Maintain records and revisions to top-level program documentation, specification, ICDs, and software documentation
- Setup and participate in FCAs and PCAs.
- Establish and maintain CSAR and reviews of SARS and ECOs
