Logistics Documentation
Our main focus is to develop and implement plans to meet customer requirements. Our plans are dynamic documents used to establish a simplified and flexible management planning framework for translating mission needs and technological opportunities, based on validated mission needs and requirements, into stable, affordable, and well-managed acquisition programs. The objectives of this activity are the execution of a support program that meets operational support performance requirements and sustainment of systems in the most cost-effective manner for TLCSM.
As part of the acquisition strategy, our acquisition logisticians develop and document the support strategy for life-cycle sustainment and continuous improvement of product affordability, reliability, and supportability, while sustaining readiness. This effort ensures that equipment/system support and life-cycle affordability considerations are addressed and documented as an integral part of the program's logistic acquisition strategy. Our planning strategy defines how a program will address support and fielding requirements that meet readiness and performance objectives, lower TOC, reduce risks, and avoid harm to the environment and human health. Our planning efforts address all applicable support requirements including:
- Preparation of planning documents including LRFS, ILSP, ULSS, PSD, NTSP, DMI study.
- Develop ILS assessment and certification documentation.
- Data development for nomenclatures, EIC, TMIN/VIN, and RICs.
- Develop of SOW/CDRL packages, IDIQ contract requirements, spares procurement packages, and BAM review.
- Support data call for SPETE/GPETE and TTE/TDs.
- Generate ILS certification sheet and CDMD-OA information.
