Supply Support

For supply support, TCI focuses on the timely and adequate provisioning of spares, repair parts, and special supplies such as consumables to satisfy operational and maintenance functions during the life cycle of a system or equipment in the most cost effective manner. We also provide supply management functions, procedures, and techniques used to determine the requirements to acquire, catalog, receive, store, transfer, issue, and dispose of items.

TCI uses the provisioning process to determine the material range and depth required to support and maintain the C4ISR system and equipment. This process involves the assignment of NSNs for each replaceable item and its associated piece parts and the review of technical data, such as drawings and part-numbers, to ensure sufficient and accurate information is available including SM&R, DMIL, EC, MRRI, etc., coding. The resulting PTD is transferred via ICAPS to NSLC/NAVICP for development of allowance documents and supply support procedures. TCI also provides planning for TSP such that PTD is submitted to NSLC/NAVICP in a timely manner to allow NAVICP the necessary lead time to develop the APL, finalize RBS analysis, and implement the PIO on the production contract to purchase spares concurrently with the tactical equipment for cost savings and for concurrent delivery of spares referred to as SAIP. We perform this process making sure every effort to develop a JITS/EDI support method is implemented. We deliver the following products and services:

• Develop and review PTD including PPL top-down breakout.
• Generate PTD in ICAP format and transfer to NSLC.
• Perform ad hoc and NAVICP approved RBS analysis. "Develop/coordinate/ track OBRP, INCO, and depot spares buys. " Coordinate PSD to track with installation and Ao requirements.
